The "Bare knuckle Lethwei" Combat Rule

Equipment

1. Fighters must wear shorts. Clothing above the waist is prohibited.

2. Fighters can wrap their hands and arms with bandages. Do not place hard objects in bandages.;

3. Fighters must wear groin protection;

4. Fighters must wear dental protection (mouth guard).


Regulations

3 rounds of 3 minutes with 2 minutes rest breaks (preliminaries) and 5 rounds of 3 minutes (finals) with 2 minutes rest breaks. Each fighter has the right to two seconds in the ring and one outside it.


Judging

There is one referee in the ring who oversees the fight.


1. The referee may stop the fight if he considers that one fighter is significantly superior to the other.

2. The referee may stop the fight and consult a doctor if one of the fighters is injured or cut.

3. The referee may stop the fight if the rules of the fight have been violated.


The judges' decision

1. A knockout is when a fighter loses consciousness and is unable to get up with a report from 1 to 10 inclusive, each count is 2 seconds. He leans on the ropes

, unable to continue the fight or defend himself with a report from 1 to 10 inclusive , each count is 2 seconds.

2. A technical knockout is when a fighter is injured or cut. The fight can be stopped by a doctor's decision. And also if the fighter is unable to defend himself properly.

3. The fight can be stopped by the seconds if they believe that their fighter is unable to continue the fight with the help of a discarded towel.;

4. If the fight goes the full distance, the victory will be determined by the decision of the judges.

1. All kinds of punches and elbows to the body and head.


Prohibited actions

1. Bites

2. Knocking out the eyes in any way;

3. Hair pulling;

4. Finger grabbing;

5. Blows to the throat in any way; Grabbing the trachea;

6. Spitting;

7. Conversations;

9. Strangulation;

10. Blows to the spine or the back of the head;

11. Hitting a prone opponent.

12. Kicks;

13. Knee strikes;

14. Headbutts;

15. Punches in the groin;

16. Wrestling techniques;

17. Trampling on a lying opponent;

18. Twists and hooks;

19. Punches after the Stop command.

12. Punches in the groin;

13. Trampling on a lying opponent;

14. Punches after the Stop command.
